When the first people created the karambit as a peaceful tool used mainly in agriculture in 11th century Indonesia, they likely never imagined a knife as modern as the Kershaw Outlier.
This updated folding karambit features a 2.6-inch hawkbill blade with a black-oxide BlackWash coating that dampens any reflective properties of the functional 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. With the help of a flipper tab or oversized thumb stud and Kershaw’s patented SpeedSafe assisted-opening mechanism, the blade springs forward predictably and reliably every time.
The blade’s curve continues down into an ergonomic glass-filled nylon handle, which includes a ring for varied and secure grips.
